Patriots’ Day #2: July 7, 2026
It has now been one year since the first South Vietnamese Patriots’ Day.
What began last year as a simple idea—to create a shared moment of remembrance for the history and legacy of South Vietnam—has now become something more: a returning tradition.
Americans display immense pride and patriotism as the nation turns 250 years old. Massive gatherings, fireworks, shows, and parties to celebrate the greatest nation on earth!
One question we’ve been asked since introducing South Vietnamese Patriots’ Day last year is
“How should I celebrate it?”
The answer is that there is no single right way. South Vietnamese Patriots’ Day emphasizes remembrance, gratitude, and patriotism.
Ways to celebrate include learning about history, praying for veterans, displaying the flag, lighting candles, observing silence, sharing stories, and fostering awareness of this important legacy.
For the second year, we invite Vietnamese Americans and Overseas to celebrate South Vietnamese Patriots’ Day on July 7.
