The U.S. and Israel pummel Iran’s dictatorship for nine straight days. Kristi Noem gets transferred out of DHS. The U.S. economy experiences continued upswings.
Meanwhile, Karan Bass’ LA suffers under socialism, and Hakeem Jeffries makes more dumb comments.
Nine Days of Dominance for Operation Epic Fury
U.S. and Israeli forces continued to dominate in Operation Epic Fury on day nine (March 8, 2026), striking over 400 Iranian targets, including ballistic missile sites, weapons facilities, and Tehran oil depots. The strikes created apocalyptic smoke over the capital while eliminating nearly 200 Hezbollah fighters in Lebanon.
Iran’s leadership fractured after Ayatollah Ali Khamenei’s death in an earlier strike. The Iranian “Assembly of Experts” reportedly selected a successor amid divisions between hardliners and pragmatists, though Mojtaba Khamenei remains a frontrunner despite skepticism.

President Trump dismissed Iran’s alleged new Supreme Leader choice, calling Mojtaba Khamenei a “lightweight” and unacceptable. He demanded unconditional surrender before any deal, insisting on a “great & acceptable” leader for Iran.
Kristi Noem Gets Transferred to New Position Within Trump Administration
President Trump has removed Kristi Noem as Secretary of Homeland Security amid criticism over several questionable decisions during her time as head of DHS, including spending $220 million on advertising and stating during congressional hearings that POTUS had approved the spending.
Trump thanked Noem in a Truth Social post and commended her successes in enforcing America’s immigration laws. Noem will transition to a new role as Special Envoy for The Shield of the Americas, a Western Hemisphere security initiative.
POTUS has nominated Oklahoma Senator Markwayne Mullin, a staunch MAGA supporter, to replace her as DHS head effective March 31, 2026, pending Senate confirmation. This marks the first major Cabinet change of Trump’s second term.
Harvard Harris Poll Shows GOP Outperforming on Generic Congressional Ballot
A recent Harvard Harris poll shows Republicans surging on the generic congressional ballot, tying Democrats at 50–50 among registered voters—an eight-point swing toward the GOP since January. The shift follows improved economic outlooks and President Trump’s State of the Union address.

Historically, the president’s party loses seats in midterms, with rare exceptions in 1934 and 2002. Republicans are therefore positioned to potentially defy the trend and retain congressional majorities in 2026 if current polling holds.
Trafalgar Group Poll Shows High Approval for POTUS
Another poll, the Trafalgar Group poll released March 3, 2026, of likely voters shows President Trump with 51% approval and 48% disapproval.
The poll was conducted post–State of the Union address. Highlights include GOP gains on the generic ballot in recent polls overall, and notes Republicans closing the gap amid shifting trends.
Broader polling averages indicate Democrats still lead modestly on the generic congressional ballot. These developments further suggest Republicans could challenge historical midterm losses for the president’s party in 2026.
If history is to be defied by any president, who better than President Trump?
U.S. Added 63,000 Private Sector Jobs in February
The ADP National Employment Report for February 2026 shows private sector employers added 63,000 jobs, a strong rebound from January’s revised 11,000 and exceeding expectations of around 43,000–50,000.

This marks the best hiring performance in seven months, led by gains in healthcare and education (58,000), construction (19,000), and the information sector. Annual pay for job-stayers rose 4.5%, with solid increases in finance (5.2%), manufacturing (4.9%), and construction (4.7%).
These figures highlight positive momentum in the Trump-era economy, with resilient private hiring and wage growth.
U.S. Productivity Crushed Expectations in Q4 of 2025
Additionally, U.S. nonfarm business productivity surged 2.8% annualized in Q4 2025, exceeding analysts’ 1.9% forecast, with output up 2.6% and hours worked down 0.2%.
Q3 productivity was revised higher to 5.2%, the strongest quarterly gain in five years. For full-year 2025, productivity rose 2.2%, matching the long-run historical average, while unit labor costs increased just 1.9%.
These figures highlight robust efficiency gains under the Trump economy, driven by business investments in technology amid policy shifts.
LA Mayor Bass’ High Minimum Wage Wreaking Havoc on Local Economy
A study commissioned by the Hotel Association of Los Angeles reveals that Mayor Karen Bass’s ordinance raising hotel workers’ minimum wage to $30 per hour by 2028 has already caused devastating effects in the hospitality industry.
Since September 2025, hotels have eliminated or expect to eliminate about 6% of positions, resulting in roughly 650 job losses. Many hotels plan to reduce staff hours significantly in 2026, with subcontractors facing contract cancellations and price hikes.

The policy, described as “utterly unaffordable,” has led to restaurant closures within hotels, higher parking costs, and delayed developments.
It is not surprising that a genius like Bass, who did nothing to prevent the devastating Palisade fires at the start of 2025 despite receiving ample pre-warning (and tried to shift blame and suppress evidence afterward), would brag about high minimum wages while leaving out the fact that many people no longer have jobs.
Hakeem Jeffries Hopes for Failure of U.S. in Middle East
House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, in a March 2, 2026, CNN interview following U.S. and Israeli strikes on Iran, predicted the operation would “end in failure” for the United States and warned against entanglement in “another endless war in the Middle East.”
Jeffries criticized the Trump administration for allegedly prioritizing military spending over domestic affordability. The embattled Democrat tied past U.S. interventions in Iraq, Libya, and Afghanistan to predict poor outcomes for American interests in Iran. His remarks drew criticism for appearing to hope for U.S. setbacks.
It appears Jeffries prefers older, less indicative examples than more recent ones, like Venezuela, where objectives were clear, actions decisive, and U.S. troops left promptly after completing their mission.

Importantly, the Venezuela operation was headed by Trump, not weak presidents like Bush, Obama, or Biden. The results speak for themselves. Hakeem Jeffries makes self gaslighting and self defeating statements on a daily basis. This latest example is nothing new.
We just mentioned fellow Democrat Karen Bass’s failed attempt to create “affordability” through socialist policies similar to Jeffries’. It is highly doubtful Jeffries’ vision of “domestic affordability” would be any better than Bass’.
Democrats have a likeability problem. This idiocy is not helping.
DNC Announces No Midterm Convention Due to Lack of Funds
The Democratic National Committee announced on March 2, 2026, it would cancel its planned midterm convention due to severe fundraising shortfalls, trailing the Republican National Committee by $100 million in cash on hand.
DNC Executive Director Roger Lau tried to spin the decision positively, claiming Democrats had “baited” Republicans into wasting resources on their own convention and were doubling down on successful state-level strategies. This framing faltered amid financial distress, including a prior $15 million loan for 2025 races.
RNC spokeswoman Kiersten Pels mocked Democrats, saying they “can’t afford a midterm convention, financially or politically,” and lack the courage to showcase their “radical, failing agenda” to voters.
Iranians Celebrate Death of Khamenei, Thank Trump and Do the “Trump Dance”
Iranians around the world are celebrating the death of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei following U.S.-Israeli airstrikes, sharing viral videos of themselves performing President Trump’s signature “Trump dance” to the Village People’s “YMCA.”
Many express profound gratitude to Trump for the decisive action that eliminated the long-time dictator. One Iranian called it “the best day of my life,” comparing the moment to the fall of the Berlin Wall.
Crowds wave pre-1979 Iranian flags, American and Israeli flags, and chant “USA!” or “Thank you, Trump” in public gatherings and online posts.
